A Associação Europeia dos Médicos Hospitalares anunciou, em comunicado, que apoia a greve de médicos de 8, 9 e 10 de Maio.

The AEMH - European Association of Senior Hospital Physicians has been alerted on the recent development in the public healthcare sector in Portugal and is deeply concerned.
We hereby express our support to our Portuguese colleagues in strike on the 8,9 and 10thof May and their claim to perform their tasks in full respect of medical careers as well as their fight for good working conditions and adequate remuneration.
AEMH is concerned with the amount of money spent on medical services given to external enterprises. We must, by all means, fight for patient’s safety.
Best quality healthcare and patients’ safety are the core values of european physicians and we are convinced that all people in Portugal share these values.
